About
Many people dream about having the freedom of time and resources to do whatever interests them. Most people will never achieve those dreams because they either fail to get started or give up because they don’t make progress quickly enough. Although understandable, it’s a shame, as there are some factors under your control that are highly correlated with life success. Some people call it stubbornness, others grit, while others might call the factors focus and persistence.
The problem with just looking at the problem so simply is that it’s a great idea without any guidelines on what that means or how to apply the concepts. We thought that it shouldn’t be so hard to understand nor implement and created this site to help people do what we set out to do and become successful using methods available to anyone without the need for a lot of specialized degrees or knowledge, a huge network of people, nor a lot of money to get started. The bottom line is that we believe that, for most people, what you really need to have to become successful are concrete goals, a flexible attitude toward changing how you do things, a way of measuring your progress, and continuous feedback.
The reason we chose to called it Planned Affluence was because success, to us, is more than just a lot of money. We believe affluence to be defined by a state where you have an abundance of choice in your life; abundance of choice with regard to health, time, friends, location, and resources. To achieve this level of choice, we believe that the accumulation of money provides the fastest route to exercising choice in the rest of your life, so we’ll be starting there.
If that sounds great to you, we hope that you’ll join us by following our Path to Wealth guide.
